or 3 blocks of wood and move the one scale around to get a measure on each corner.

Make sure you put some round tube under the scales so they can move or they can jam when you lower the car onto them wink.gif

I presume we will have scales at every track next year so after every ht and final win cars will tested for correct inside weight. Just like the 1's, wrong inside weight and you get the win took off you. ohmy.gif

Thanks to BriSCA F2 Partner 'INTERCOMP' there will be sets of scales made available to cover events where needed.

Have to agree fully - every track should have a set of scales and like has already been stated in a previous post the winner of every race should be weighed before been allowed to return to their pit space, just like the F1's.

Also random drivers from each race should be weighed also.

Surely there would be enough money from the drivers licence fees to afford scales for each venue, where does all that go.

If this does not happen then once again people will interpret the rules differently and cars I guarantee will have differing inside weights at tracks where they know checks will not be carried out.

We need to make a fresh start in 2010, Brisca F2's have already had their fair share of bad press and scandal, this will only increase if changes are not put in place to police the existing and new rule introductions.

One scale pad works absolutely fine, yes you do have to wedge other three wheels to same height though. Just takes a bit longer than using 4 together.

However, 90 odd% of standard digital bathroom type scales will only display the weight for a matter of seconds.

I use a single digital shipping weigh pad - goes upto 250KGs, constantly displays weight, has long flexi cable to separate display screen and is very accurate reading to 3 decimal places.

Are you serious? You actually use one scale and move it around, wedging the other wheels up??

I think that's what I said, as I also mentioned - it just takes a little longer than using 4 together. Fact is it gives the same readings as a full fancy sysytem which not everyone can afford. You can buy a lot of tyres/spares with the difference in price wink.gif
