After the success of last years F2 awards night this years evening will once again be taking place at The Britannia Royal Court Hotel in Coventry on Saturday 5 December 2009.

You can now pre-order your tickets which are priced as follows

Adults - £30.00
Children (under 13) - £15.00

Your ticket price includes a 3 course sit down dinner.

Entertainment for the evening will once again be provided by The Bar Studs.

Discounted rooms are available for the night.

This event isn't just open to drivers and there teams if for drivers, mechanics, fans, promotors, friends and family.

Come along and cheer on our championship winners of 2009 and be on hand to see the surprises that don't get announced up front.

Discounted accomodation is available at the Royal Court Hotel for the awards night rooms are priced at the following

£65.00 for a twin/double
£45.00 for a single

This price includes full English breakfast.


If anyone wishes to purchase tickets this weekend I will be at both Birmingham and Taunton and will have a supply with me.

With 9 weeks to go on Saturday we are well under way with preparations for this years awards night.

Dave Goddard has confirmed that he will once again be our MC for the evening.
Mick Sworder has confirmed that he will undertake the role of Mr Auctioneer.
Colin Casserley will be on hand to take pictures during the evening.

For any of our Scottish members, if you want to be a part of the evening and haven't as yet got your tickets or would like further information then I will be at Crimond on Sunday 11 October.

Tickets are priced at £30.00 per adult with Children under 13 being £15.00.

Mickey Brennan has confirmed that he will be attendance where we will be presenting him with the World Championship Trophy.

Tickets are really starting to move quite quick now especially with only about 8 weeks to go.

If your planning on being there and haven't as yet reserved your tickets please contact me as soon as possible. We may have to close the ticket sales near the end of November so that we can confirm the number of people attending.

It really is starting to shape up to be another great night.

All the usual from last year, the band, the auction, the presentation of the Championship Trophies, Driver of the Year plus some added extras.

Tickets will be available this weekend at Birmingham in front on race control on Saturday and on the back straight near the signing in office at Northampton on Sunday.

We are trying to deliver orders for tickets to most tracks over the remainder of the season.

You can pay by cash or cheque, we can take payment by credit/debit card but your tickets will have to be ordered via the internet.

If you haven't already got your tickets for this years awards night and you are planning on going can you please get in touch.

Tickets will now only be available to buy in person at the following two meetings

Sheffield - Sunday 25 October
Birmingham - Saturday 7 November

Tickets are still available to order by phone.

We need to confirm the final numbers with the hotel mid to late November, I cannot guarantee once the final figure has been confirmed if we can sell anymore tickets.

Tickets for this years awards night will be available at Birmingham on Saturday, if you hvaen't got yours and want to be there then please contact me and I can arrange to deliver some during the meeting.

So far the following championship winners have confirmed they will be attending were we will be presenting them with there Championship Trophies

Andrew Palmer - World of Shale

There are also the following track championship trophies that will also be presented

Kings Lynn - Mark Simpson
Mildenhall - Andrew Palmer

St Columb - Chris Bradbury

The 2009 BSCDA F2 Ben Fund Driver of the Year will be announced on the night along with a couple of other presentation that you need to be in attendance to see.

We will once again be having two cars on display for all to see

And the auction will once again be taking place with our auctioneers Mick Sworder and Johnny Hall.

It is shaping up to be another night to remember.

If you are still considering having tickets for this years awards night, the final meeting where you can collect in person will be at Belle Vue this coming Sunday.

As it states in the newsletter Carlton will also take orders or will pass on your requirements to me if you would rather deal with him.

After this Saturday you can contact Dave Harley again who will also be happy to help with what you need.

After Sunday it will be phone/post orders only.

It looks like it will be yet another night to remember.

We are still taking orders for tickets for this years awards night, if you would like to attend then please contact myself, Dave Harley or Carlton Elliott who will all be happy to discuss your requirements.

Final numbers have to be given to the hotel by next Friday so that the seating plan can be arranged.

If you want a vote in the Driver of the Year attending on the night could be your only chance to make a difference. At present there is a clear winner but this could all change when the votes on the night are added to what has already come in.
