I reckon the lap timing feature would work, as it will use the cable under the track on the start and finish. Not too sure how accurate the current position and the gap to car in front readings will be though. During stoppages etc when cars come out of position I would think that would foul up the readings?? These features are probably more suited for circuit racing where frequent stoppages don’t normally occur. Looks a good bit of kit though. It might be worth emailing AMB to see if they can tell you which features will work on an oval.
