all i got is 375 won a heat,chalkley won a heat ,brent whithead won final and chalkley won gn. 28 cars racing only 2 red tops

Just got home, didn't see the full meeting as i was there with the 213 Lee Fairhurst team. Lee had rotten luck and went out of heat 1 with badly bent steering after being put into the wall on the straight. The team repaired the steering rack end and low trailing arm only to discover the steering rack was also bent as well as the steering wheel shaft. A rack was borrowed and a steering shaft sourced and fitted and the car sent out just in time for heat 2. Only for there to be a big pile up on lap one and the borrowed steering rack got destroyed. So they loaded up having done two steering racks in less than 10 laps of racing. They hope to be back out at Buxton tomorrow.
Anyway the results i do have are below.
26 cars, including 2 red tops 501 Jason Ward and 641 from Scotland. 2 heats all cars in, Final and GN
Ht1 - 375
Ht 2 - 469, 60, 375, 299, 481, 733, 670, 838, 470, 641
Final - 60 Brent Whitehead, 805, 375, 501, 641
And thats all i have, but better than nothing.
Got plenty of pictures from the infield if anyone needs anything specific, just let me know.
When I was a kid, which is a long, long time ago, I used to watch Brent Whitehead flying around Warton in his Triumph 2000 Super Banger. Looks like he can still remember the quick way around, he was unstoppable in the Final and came through the pack for a high finish in the GN. A few more laps and he might well have won that too.
