Hi all!

As the title says - anybody out there used a Vito for towing and if so, are they any good?

I'm looking at a '02 plate 110cdi.

Cheers

When I first started, I used to borrow one by way of sponsorship. They are great for towing. The 112 is the one to go for, and get a speed camera detector too, they go quite fast biggrin.gif

On the down side, there isn't a vast amount of space in them, and if they go wrong, they aren't cheap to repair. They do drive nicely though, and will tow great. Avoid the non turbo version, the 109 I think it is, they are pants.

The cdi's have injector trouble now and again and they seem to eat glowplugs too. Both relativly cheap fixes now. Apart from that there a good motor. As mike says they not the best for space, but theres alot more space in that than there is in ya car buddy biggrin.gif

The one 110 will have plenty of power for towing f2.
We had a 108 and used it to go to Mildenhall a few times. Towed at 85 down A1 and hills weren't much of a problem. Handy for knocking about in during the week as well.

Thanks for that everyone!

You're right Did, for a van it might not be classed as having lots of space but compared to the 307 it'll be huge biggrin.gif

I'm not sure the vito will be plated heavy enough to legally to an f2 with it's spares.
