I think that makes it 5 finals in a row at Taunton for the Moodster. Well done Gordon.
I have just come down from the mother of all GN's. This is THE race of the season so far. A race long tussle between Hooper and Cummings, was brought under yellows. This allowed Timmy, Polley, Bradders and the Moodster (under a handicap) to catch up ahnd tussle and for about 2 laps the lead was changing hands quicker than a bookie at Aintree. Hooper then decided to drive the hapless Cumings into the wall, and the melee that followed collected Nelly and said Moodster, bringing out yellows with 3 to go. 667, 886, and 38. With the 886 clearly quicker than the 667 stead, it was a tactical game of cat and mouse byt Bradders, aiming for a last bend shove. it indeed did come but little was expected when Polley snuck past them both like a dog with a plate of sausages to claim the win. And it wasn't raining either!
The Wingless Wonder was shifting in the final, which saw 2 restarts unfortunately saw goldin in the middle, and moodie somehow avoid it, and the mother of all shoves by the Flying Fish, but Moodies RCE's secret is revealed. It's made from Teflon!
The Westcountry Fun Bus now travels on to Smegness and certain members of the South West Fanbase fraternity were discussing who to palm Jimmy Chalk off for the weekend. So ladies, if you see a lanky streak of .... stalking the streets looking for love, please give generously.
What a good meeting lastnight, had everything from 'F2s on ice' for the heats, loads of reds in the cons, Moodie giving a master class in the final (one handed) and what a G/N ! Everyone was on it. Maybe Taunton should race under lights more because it was superb.
Well done 315 for a great drive after a tough week ! Well deserved !
Definitely better under the lights at Taunton.....and the G.N was worth the entrance money alone
Taunton under lights is spectacle everyone must see. As is the DVD of last night.....

always the highlight for me Taunton under lights, shame there aren't more . Well done indeed Justin, perhaps he doesn't need the new car after all and I dont think a bit of leg pulling did him any harm.
Even Binnit was pacey until the commentators curse from the terraces had him done for twice. Roll on the August speedweekend.

It is weird that every time we say how well you are going you immediately fluck it up or someone does it for you. Spooky! Lively Linfield is obviously not the only commentators curse.
4th in heat 1 is down as 176 - Anyone shed any information on who this is?
