Problems for Farrell I take it??

spikey167- 09-16-2007
you could say that bazworth, he span mid race after a fantastic tussell with the master only to get hit side on and driven over!!

The supsension ( outside front ) was wrecked beyond repair and one of the wishbones went through the sump so that was that!!

Bill also encountered problems a lap or so later when the egine went bang, literally pics to follow!

Well, its time to stir things up a bit.....as finally a meeting of minds as the Sovster met my mortal self for the first time...

My highlights.... former mini girl Josie Dawe as the days trophy girl - don't the grow up qucik, and not to be outdone, sis Katie (910) made a winning debut in the Burger Rods in the ex Truran Starlet, and Mr Patel (898) in the ex Lattka/Truran Nova

The meetings speedy conclusion (final on track at 3pm!0 until some numpty decided a follow in a 8 car banger race was the best method, and some poor sod gets carted away in an ambulance. I am a convert to the Bangerstox fold totally now...
However watching Autospeed Marshall Wayne Sinker scarper from the best exploding banger since Barfords attempt at the Semis last year (guffaw) was a sight to behold
Bill Batten's newly acquired bus pass grants him the position of if someone young is taking his place, they must relinquish it...
Good drives from Shadey Wadey and Ross Rowe, although the final drive has one not so keen driver....

And in the unofficial Bill Dalley impersination competition, I raised the bar not only with a top mark riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight then, but with a ttttttttttttttreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevor redmond... following with a a dulct "Thank you Bill" in an anglisized Kiwi tone

Since Spikey and I were the only ones to hear that impression we are the only ones who can judge, and I am sorry but you haven't raised the bar. You are still just on it.

Good session down at the countries most Southernly venue and special mention to travellers Dave Polley, Martin Coles, Chris Roots and Ade Baker - God knows what time you would have got home, probably still driving now!

Plenty of action and bumper work yesterday on what must be a truly unique racing experience. It certainly is good to watch as the cars look right on the edge.

The Master looked back to his old self (well until his engine let go!) and some good performances from Justin Fisher (315), Darren Wade (891) and Piers Cockerill (497).

Never say never, who knows where the gold roof will be next.

great track - completely barking shape but a wild ride round the back curvestraight. had car set a bit too low and some grounding/jumping out of gear issues to blame for my consistant last places ( that's my story and i'm sticking to it ) but thanks to everyone for being so friendly and welcoming.

made it back to winchester in four hours - van going faster than racecar at the moment !
