shuddap where were you hiding then. you didnt go cowdie and kockabouthill?
ride heights should be set with you in the car otherwise if you run soft springs when you get in your bumper will be to low
ride heights should be set however your car builder says.
andrew is right, bumper heights can drop up to an inch when you get in the car but if it should be set with you in the car then if you do it with you out then your rear suspenion will be miles out when you get in.
also it doesnt hurt to set your rear bumper a bit low as when you are getting hit you are on the brakes and the back of the car will lift

yes we did Mcmaidment and Mcbuther went on the were the hell are we tour
had some good results in the heats
Yes i saw that, very good, I also read that McMaidment wabts to return ( the semis are as good a time as any!!! )
think he would prefer the semis to be at knockhill took us all night to pry the steering wheel out of his hands at cowdie
But when they check bumper heights at the track they do it with you out, so surely thats the way they should be set.
When peter gilbert built my ex car thats how he did it, and i know thats how higgy and hardin does it too. If you are a one man band its impossible to do it with you in the car too.
But i spose tc is right it does depend how the car is built. How do you measure your ride heights tc???
with the driver out of the car, because then like i said when you get in it will drop about an inch which helps when you are getting hit under braking.
john harding sets ride heights with the driver in the car.
