Anyone up to date enough to confirm standings at the top of the national points chart after mid week Skeg? Looks like it's going to be a close one!
Well according to my entirely unofficial points tally..........
Chris Bradbury now leads by 17 points!!!!!!!!!!
How many of us thought that would happen during 2008?????
Let's just hope we get a season long battle.
It would certainly be refreshing for the formula and something to keep the interest going after the World Final - good luck to both drivers - I am looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds!!

here here! dosent matter who wins as long as it goes down to the wire!!
In my view it is good news for the sport that there is a con-*test*-('") for the silver roof this year.
I wish Chris well in his bid to take Gordon's title away although really, I have no preference which of them eventually takes it. Both are tremendous ambassadors for F2 racing, both put themselves out to travel inordinate distances, and both are great entertainers. Also, both are likeable men who always take time to have a chat whenever I see them in the pits.
It never ceases to amaze me, when you consider how little prize money is available in F2 racing, just how much time, money and effort is spent by MOST drivers, never mind just the top two in the points chart.
Good luck to Gordon and Chris.

Thanks for confirming that Pete.
I had it worked out exactly the same, but was thrown a little bit by the announcement before the GN at Skeg on Sunday that the gap was down to 10 points when I had it at 20.
Was beginning to think that I had missed some complicated points system for the UK weekend.
come on gordon is all i will say on subject
Don't care who wins it as long as they deserve it and do the silver roof proud
the announcement on sunday at the UK was said to be subject to confirmation. It was never said to be official, i guess we shall wait untill the official grading points come out and you two guys who make the gap to be 17 points could be right but i dont think we should knock the commentator, he was only keeping us up to date
he did stress that it was un official and needed to be confirmed.
at least we have got a good battle for the national points this year. may the best man win.
Come on Bradderz, lets stop the predictable wing having a 7 or 79 on it...........................boring, although fair play to him.
Come on 886
I love to watch chris and i wish him all the luck but lets face facts here theres no way Gordon will let the silver roof go if Chris dose 3 mettings a week gordon will do 4. Driver to driver they are both very much a like but Gordon as the edge with time and money. What we need is Speaky back not just for the silver roof but for some one to stand up to sworder and to give him a taste of the fence but hey thats another subject
Make Gordon actually spray his wing for once... be strange to see him with a red roof!
