Heat 3 was
677 152 886 667 h61 254 173 362 80 706
They ammended the results advising that 362 did actually finish in 8th place because of car he is using but he still qualified for the final and did come out for the final.
Woz there couldn't have asked for better - heat 2 and heat 3 - exciting racing and the west contry boys qualifying for the final. Yes Justin was flying. But for me the day was about how the big fish interacted! (sorry) 152 667 886 and 7! Timmy seemed keen to do battle and did not seem to be socialising as much with his West country team mates between races (sorry I wasn't stalking him but I just happened to be near where the west country drivers gathered to watch track side). Infact in both the final and grand national he was climbing over other cars! (676 in the final and some poor blue top in the national). In my opinion 152 was best, 667 second and 7 third on the day but then Gordon was entertaining up with the Rebels as well!
However the man of the match was definitely Chris Roots - he provided a gripping final with Mick Sworder getting closer and closer to him in the last few laps, a win Chris so deserved, keeping just enough distance between him and the 152 car!
Brilliant day (though I'm not sure 401 would agree!)
Thanks to all the drivers a great afternoon of racing.

You're quite right - Dave did finish in eighth place. But just to be pedantic, and for those who keep a tally of the points, because 362 was engine -*test*-('")ing he is not included in the results, but gets average points instead.
So the result was not actually amended and points are awarded as per the original result as given by Hay.
Dave I understand what you are saying, it was just that people around us couldn't understand why he had be "removed"

After he helped Moodie into the plating in his heat he never got going quick enough.... so he never qualified (obviously) and in the consi 2 he ended up on top of another car so not a good meeting for him eh ..but thats racing
