A mate of mine told me about these Sat Navs and I bought one.

If you are in need of or looking at buying a new Sat Nav this is well worth considering

Navigo SY-895 Widescreen

It comes with a 1GB memory card which can easily handle a good few hours of video if you convert them to .avi format.

Best thing is you can buy a new SD card and download and install the latest TomTom system, add it to the card and bingo it works. A widescreen TT and portable movie player for less than 90 quid!!

I have TomTom 6 running on mine as well as MioMaps and Igo8. Plus three full Chubby Brown dvd's (each over 1hr 15mins). All you need is the following:-

New SD memory card (ideally 4GB)
USB Card Reader

Read through a lot of this and download the relevant files to your PC from here --->Ebuyer Forum (Install TomTom). You need to note a few tweaks are necessary but nothing major.

Connect the card reader with memory card to your pc, unzip the downloaded files and drag them into the new memory card. Put the card back into the sat nav and hey presto!

Also plays mp3 music, stores photos and you can even load ebooks onto it.
