If i was looking to buy another car i would go for the elite thats on ebay at the moment.
Everbody has seen what elite cars can do and you have got a good base/starting point.
If you dont like it well you can always sell it and still get 99% of your money back.
Im sure he could come up with apackage for your budget.
are you after some commission there richy :
selling other people's cars for them, you'll go a long way son...
ricky444 my fellow racer is right though, you cant go wrong with a second hand elite... parts are easy to come by, there are very strong and dont fall to bits on impact... i've owned one in the past, i've also owned a forsyth built car.
out of the two i'll go elite every time. i did'nt like the forsyth car at all - too small..
by the way richy i've sent you a pm...
Ricky the Forsyth build cars were good starter cars as they were fairly cheap and very strong but they were never the best car. Like Richy states an elite car would be good but if I were you I'd try for a randall as there'll be a few at every track so spares arent a problem or just a phone call away and next day delivery. You asked for advice a while ago didn't you?
One thing about that Forsythe is that it's complete, with a tranx gearbox, LSD, decent spec engine, brand new alloys and tyres, etc.
It's properly complete, not
Complete less engine, gearbox, and diff.
With knackered tyres on wonky steel rims.
With worn-out dampers.
Like some cars that get put up for sale.
There's about £400 of spare tyres alone, never mind all the other parts.
Frankly, £4k for that whole package is not too bad, there's a lot of parts you could transfer to a better chassis in a season or two, then sell the chassis or keep as a spare.
Ricky ideally go for a car that is still being raced by the seller that way you can go to a meeting look at the car see how it sits on the track and see what it goes like.
Personally I would go for an elite or a bingley which is complete and comes with some spares.

Would agree with that but also add Randall to the list of possibilities.
Also if funds are short maybe consider racing shale. Shale cars tend to be cheaper to buy and maintain.
thanks for all your advice will wait till i see an elite i like thats complete yours ricky444
