Evenin' all,

Hope you all enjoyed the WQ double header at the weekend - some great battles throughout both meetings and some top travelling efforts yet again, top marks!

With our introduction period now served, we are happy to confirm the dates for Crimond's White & Yellows Series, which will kick off on Saturday 5th July at 5pm (not 5:30pm as printed on the unloaded advert, or 1pm as printed on the official fixtures). Round 2 will take place on Sunday 17th August whilst Round 3 will form part of the Highland Fling on Sunday 21st September before the Final features in our End of Season meeting on Sunday 12th October.

Part of the reason for delaying the series was due to the fact the fixtures during the second half of the year are more favourable to the Scottish drivers, with the opening two rounds being solus dates on the Scottish calendar (no Cowdenbeath on 5th July and no F2's at Cowdie on August 16th), giving you as much an opportunity as we can give for you to compete. In addition, an open practice session will be available from 1pm - 4pm before our Saturday 5th July fixture at a cost of £10 per car - each class is given as much track time as possible so it's an ideal opportunity to familiarise yourself further with the track and tweak that setup to help you beat the Blue Brothers!

In the meantime, bookings are being taken for our next meeting this Sunday (June 22nd) via the normal e-mail crimondf2 "at" yahoo.co.uk or by giving me a bell on 01358 743064 - if no reply just leave a message with your name, racing number and contact number just in case! Hope to see some of you there.

Evenin' all,

Just a quick message to say bookings are now being taken for this SATURDAY'S meeting at Crimond - start time 5pm prompt! As well as being Round 1 of the inaugural Whites & Yellows series, Saturday is also day one of the annual Munster Speedweekend at Crimond, with the F2's racing for their trophies on Saturday night only. There are no F2's featured during Sunday afternoon's schedule, but drivers are welcome to join the festivities at the campsite along from the track if they wish to stayover for both days of racing.

The Whites & Yellows race will be event #1 on the programme with the meeting format to be confirmed on the night - booking is strongly advised so we can confirm at the earliest possible opportunity what that format will be. A reminder that there is also an open practice session from 1pm-4pm at a cost of £10 per car, with the evening's entertainment rounded off with our unique Caravan Pursuit race. Leave me a message on 01358 743064 or e-mail crimondf2 "at" yahoo.co.uk - hope to see some of you there!

Ahoy hoy!

Costa del Crimond is taking bookings for "Scottish Championship Revenge" this coming Sunday afternoon (27th July) - bookings by the usual means, all drivers are being considered provisionals due to the big race on Saturday night. Damage permitting we hope a few non-regulars manage to join us on Sunday...we expect quite a few to turn-up on the day but even if you're no 100% sure on whether you want to compete, just let me or Bill know you're thinking aboot it as we're expecting a lot of Bangers so it'll help with potential race format amendments!!!

Efternoon,

484 Kevin Michie and 370 Brad Callaghan* are late additions to the booking list online at www.crimondraceway.co.uk...expecting around 20 cars to appear depending on damage after tonight's Scottish Championship, no bad considering the busy period for the Tooz up north over the next fortnight! Hope to see some of you there.

*Edited to add Brad who left a message just as I was aboot to walk oot the door.
