Anyone know what happened with Andy Ford and Allen Cooper after the flag..cant remember wat race just remember them hitting each other on the infield and the hit 225 put on 702 in the final i think...good hit but was it something to do with that or payback???
702 and 13 were only playing about after the flag, we were all laughing and joking straight after.
225's hit was hard but totally seperate. a hit from the rear is acceptable but on next bend 225 went for 702's front wheel but just missed and got nerf rail. 225 came up to sort things out and said he didnt mean it after race. he did the same thing to 219 at belle vue and used the same lines with him. only difference is 219 managed to get his payback later on.

702 was second in final not 559 he was lap down |
Where did Bert lose a lap? A look at the lap chart for the Coventry final on 'My Laps' shows him having completed 20 laps.
However, according to 'My Laps' 702 was a lap down in the Track Championship race. Now this doesn't necessarily mean that 702 had in fact lost a lap - he may have missed the loop on one lap and that is why he was given third.
In other words it is possible for a car to cross the start/finish line 20 times but the computer to clock only 19 (for example if the car crosses on the infield to avoid a spinning car), but it is not possible for a car to cross the start/finish line 19 times but the computer to clock 20 times.

Excellent point, this is probably what happened. Never thought of all that, cheers dave
Your right David, Ive got a photo just after some of the grid all went for the same spot entering the home straight on the first lap of the Cov Track Championship race, most had to avoid Sarg who was facing the wrong way - Photo shows 702 on the kerbs with 348 on the very inside of the track! I would guess that was the missing lap for Super Cooper.
