I understand that 871 Mark Simpson was reinstated as the winner of the 2nd consolation.
can anyone shed any light on 'why' he was reinstated and 'when' he was reinstated as the winner of the 2nd consolation
why was he reinstated? if his tyres are too soft tough shud dock him imo
the durometer was later found to be faulty
Spoke with Mark's mechanic later on in the evening and he was explaining things to me but i didn't realise at the time he'd been re-instated. It's a shame, because he had to miss out on a final and GN because of this - but at least it clears his name
