can anyone tell me the best diff to use at Barford, Skeg and Brum using a tran-x box and 8" wheels.

Barford 4.1, skeg 3.9 brum 3.7.

i have been told that if i put a 3.9 in i can get the 4.1 ratio in second gear and 3.9 in 3rd which saves changing diffs between tracks?

Thats right, if you remember that what ratio you put in your axle, 2nd gear will be roughley 1 up from that and 3rd gear is the ratio you have put in the axle.


3.89 in the axle;
2nd =4.1
3rd =3.89

And so on. wink.gif
