But, if like me, you visit web pages that have really annoying banners that flash up at the top of them.... and yes, you do. If that happens to screw you up, here is a solution.
Instead of using Microsoft Internet Explorer as your web browser, then try using Mozilla Firefox, downloadable from here
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/products/firefox/Once you have it up and running and installed, add on the "Ad Block Plus" add on, downloadable from here
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865Install it, adn subscribe to the Easylist (USA) as your filter list, and hey presto, ads no longer appear some websites, which have ads along the top of them.
