Can someone please confirm that the gaps should be Inlet .20mm and Exhaust 0.25mm. I found these on a sierra forum but it does not say that they are the 2L settings. Many Thanks. Steve
Valve clearance as follows INLET 0.008 THOU 0.20M EXHAUST 0.010 THOU 0.25M

Usually, the gaps are 0.20mm (8 thou) Inlet and 0.25mm (10 thou) exhaust.
That's the clearances for the standard ford 2 litre cam, and f2 cam from Piper (OHC949) and Kent (GTS8), others may differ, so always best to check.
Many thanks all...it no longer sounds like a Fordson Major, 3 retaining nuts had slackened off following practice.
